The UnionDocs headquarters will be a home for an international community of documentary film makers that will include a cafe and bar, apartments for artists in residence, a gallery, and a cinema which also functions as a production space. Since the organization is a non-profit the project will be funded by grants including a large grant from the New York Council for the Arts that was awarded to the project in early 2024.
